Lenise Christopher

Lenise Christopher helped open Western High School in 1961 and was an English teacher there until she retired in 1993. In addition, she served as WHS National Honor Society Chapter Advisor for many years, served on the WHS Scholarship Committee, and taught Western’s first Advanced Placement English classes. She also initiated the Varsity Quiz Program in the Clark County School District.

This bio was written on 5/12/10 when Lenise Christopher came to The Public Education Foundation to establish this scholarship to be offered to WHS seniors upon her passing. What an amazing and generous lady.
