WellHealth is Nevada’s first and only Accountable Care Network. An Accountable Care Network is a performance based model that measures patient care and cost control on standard criteria.

Patients are navigated throughout their care process. All appointments and tests are completed under the same healthcare umbrella. The idea is that if a primary care physician is treating a patient, and additional insight is needed from a speciality, the physician refers them to a specialist in the WellHealth network so the collaboration of care is based on the same quality-based approach.

An Accountable Care network’s structure is to offer simplified and efficient clinical authorizations as well as collaboration between doctors to ensure drastic reduction of repetitive or excessive testing and multiple office visits.
