Betty L. Shults Scholarship

Current or former Girl Scouts from GSSNV that are a senior with a 2.5 or higher GPA planning to attend an accredited college or university may apply for this scholarship. Student may be a senior at a Southern Nevada charter, private, or CCSD Nevada high school and must have earned their Gold or Silver Award from GSSNV council. Preference will be given to students that will be attending a Nevada college or university. One scholarship in the amount of $4,000 ($1,000/year) will be offered.

Verification of college enrollment (class schedule) will be required during the summer before a check is mailed to the college. Continued enrollment and a college GPA of 2.5 or higher will be required for each subsequent year before the check is mailed to the college. Scholarship funds must be applied toward tuition, fees and other appropriate educational expenses.
