Durango Trailblazer '93 Scholarship

Durango High School Clark County, Nevada seniors with a 3.0 or higher GPA who are planning to attend college may apply for this scholarship. Financial need will be considered and student must enroll as a full-time student in college. One scholarship in the amount of $500 will be awarded. This scholarship may be renewable for up to three additional years if student continues to meet the requirements.

Verification of college enrollment (class schedule) will be required during the summer before check is mailed to the college. Scholarship funds must be applied toward tuition, fees and other appropriate educational expenses. These funds will be disbursed in equal payments over two semesters.

For the purpose of this essay, you have been tasked with setting up the Durango High School Alumni Association. What steps would you take to establish an alumni association? What steps would you take to inform Durango High School graduates that an alumni association has been established and how they can get involved? What benefits would Durango High School receive from having an alumni association? What benefits would Durango High School graduates receive for belonging to an alumni association?
