Family of Paige Evans

Family of Paige Evans

Paige Evans was a bright, artistic and loving young lady. She was graceful with the beautiful intelligence of an old soul. She had a fierce love of reading and writing. She was witty and compassionate with an amazing insight and ability to help friends in need.

Paige was very talented in many art forms from drawing, sketching, and photography to knitting. She could tell you every explicit detail from every Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings book to interpreting the writings of Oscar Wilde. She often wrote poetry and wrote many fantasy and satirical tales.

Paige was a non-traditional student who decided the beginning of her junior year of high school that she would rather use her time at home to double up her studies and complete her junior and senior year rather than sit in a traditional classroom. And she did it – she graduated a year early, April 2013! After complications from a lengthy illness, she passed away September 11, 2014.

Paige had many diverse interests and many dreams she wanted to follow – whether it was to use her artistic talents to become a photographer, a tattoo artist or a novelist – the sky was the limit.

Paige’s sweet nature is missed dearly. She is loved and remembered in the hearts of friends and family in her short time here. This scholarship is to honor Paige and remind us of the love and joy she brought to our hearts.
