Spring Valley High School - Principal's Award

Spring Valley High School seniors living in Clark County, Nevada who have attended SVHS all four years may apply for this scholarship. Applicants must be involved in multiple school activities, participate in community service, and have had no disciplinary offenses. Please provide proof of community service/advocacy hours served. A minimum unweighted 3.0 G.P.A. is required. In addition, the student must write an essay regarding what he/she plans to do with his/her life based upon the skills and knowledge acquired at Spring Valley High School (500 word limit). Applicants must plan to attend a post-secondary institution either full-time or part-time. One scholarship in the amount of $500 for one year will be awarded to one SVHS student.

Verification of college enrollment (class schedule) will be required during the summer before a check is mailed to the college. Scholarship funds must be applied toward tuition, fees and other appropriate educational expenses. These funds will be disbursed in equal payments over two semesters.
