MariaJose Gonzalez-Vazquez Memorial Scholarship
College bound seniors who have attended Gragson Elementary School in Clark County and students previously awarded this scholarship may apply for this scholarship. Students must demonstrate financial need. Preference will be given to students who attended Gragson Elementary School for multiple years and students pursuing a 4-year degree. At least two (2) scholarships in the amount of $500 each will be awarded to new recipients and additional awards may be awarded to former recipients who re-apply to continue their scholarship for an additional year.
Verification of college enrollment (class schedule) will be required during the summer before a check is mailed to the college. Scholarship funds must be applied toward tuition, fees and other appropriate educational expenses. These funds will be disbursed in equal payments over two semesters.
