Nevada Garden Clubs Scholarship

Nevada college freshman, sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students pursuing a Master’s Degree in a field of study indicated in the eligible majors below may apply for this scholarship. Students must have a 3.25 cumulative GPA, demonstrate financial need, and attend a Nevada accredited college or university as a full-time student. One scholarship in the amount of $1,500 will be awarded.

Eligible majors include: Agronomy, Agriculture education , Floriculture, Horticulture, Landscape Design, Botany (Biology), Forestry, Wildlife Science, Plant Pathology/Science, City (Rural & Urban) Planning, Habitat or Forest/Systems Ecology, Environmental Concerns (Management), and Environmental Conservation (Law, Engineering, etc).

Student must be a US Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident of the United States and must be a permanent resident of the state of Nevada. Verification of college enrollment (class schedule) will be required during the summer. Scholarship funds must be applied to tuition and books only.
