Vegas Strong Helping Hands Scholarship

College-bound seniors and current college students who have been affected by the 2017 Route 91 Harvest Festival and who have demonstrated a financial hardship or plan on pursuing a specific area of study in need for The State of Nevada may apply for this scholarship. Currently, in 2020, areas in need include Accounting, Education, Health Care and Medical Services, Information Technology, and STEM related areas. Separate funds are available for students who attended the 2017 Route 91 Harvest Festival or are a dependent of someone who attended the 2017 Route 91 Harvest Festival. Scholarship(s) in the amount of $2,500 each will be awarded and recipients may renew each year of their schooling for a two or four-year degree. Number of awards is TBD.

Verification of college enrollment (class schedule) will be required during the summer before a check is mailed to the college. Scholarship funds must be applied toward tuition, fees, and other appropriate educational expenses unless donor discretion indicates otherwise. These funds will be disbursed in equal payments over two semesters.
