Nevada Clay Guild & The Ellen Sonenthal Memorial Education Scholarship

Nevada high school seniors who have completed two years or more in Ceramic Arts, have a 2.5 or higher GPA and a good attendance records may apply for this scholarship. Student may be a senior at a charter, private, or CCSD Nevada high school. Preference will be given to students enrolled in AP level Ceramic Arts courses and/or students interested in pursuing a degree in a visual arts related field. Applicants will be required to upload photos of their ceramic arts work. Five scholarships in the amount of $500 each will be awarded.

Verification of college enrollment (class schedule) will be required during the summer before a check is mailed to the college. Scholarship funds must be applied toward tuition, fees and other appropriate educational expenses. These funds will be disbursed in equal payments over two semesters.
