Picerne Family Charitable Foundation Scholarship - Coronado High School

The Picerne Family Charitable Foundation Scholarship will be awarded to a Coronado High School senior in Clark County, Nevada, with a minimum 3.0 GPA who is planning to attend college full-time, has demonstrated civic leadership, community service, and is a true “over-achiever”. This $20,000 scholarship ($2,500/semester renewable and payable over 8 semesters) is meant for a deserving student who is pursuing a dream, but without this support, may not have the chance.

Student Requirements for Renewal: To receive further semi-annual installments of $2,500 students must:
*Uphold a 3.0 or higher term GPA *Be enrolled as a full-time student *Submit a semi-annual update by March 1st and September 1st for review that includes: 1. student semester update form and 2. Complete transcript including semester grades, semester GPA, cumulative GPA, and next semester’s schedule.

After approval by The Picerne Family Charitable Foundation, the student’s next installment check will be mailed directly to their college by The PEF. Under exceptional circumstances, accompanied with a detailed explanation, a GPA of below 3.0 might be approved for renewal.

Verification of college enrollment (class schedule) will be required during the summer before initial check is mailed to the college. Scholarship funds must be applied toward tuition, fees and other appropriate educational expenses.
