Las Vegas Hospitality Association Child of LVHA Scholarship

CCSD Nevada, Private, or Charter School seniors attending any Las Vegas High School who are a child or grandchild of an LVHA member who is active and in good standing for one year may apply for this scholarship. This is a financial need scholarship. The student must be a full-time college student and maintain a 3.0 minimum cumulative weighted GPA each semester in order to receive the scholarship award for the next semester. A transcript and class schedule will be required and the student must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours. This is not a renewable scholarship. However, past recipients may re-apply for additional years. Up to four scholarships in the amount of $2,500 each will be offered. This scholarship is paid $1,250 per semester & recipient must submit the proper paperwork and meet the qualifications to receive the award for the second semester.

*Recipients of this scholarship are required to allow the PEF to release contact information to the Las Vegas Hospitality Association for direct contact.

Verification of enrollment and class schedule are required each semester. Student must maintain a 3.0 or higher GPA to renew award each semester. Scholarship funds must be applied toward tuition only. If a student drops out of school the pro-rated tuition refund is to be returned to The Public Education Foundation and deposited in the LVHA scholarship fund.
