Hispanic (HEAN) Teacher Scholarship

College-bound high school seniors in Clark County, Nevada, of Hispanic/Latino descent with a 3.2 or higher GPA planning to attend an accredited Nevada college or university full-time may apply for this scholarship. Student must plan to pursue a degree in education. Student may be a senior at a charter, private, or CCSD high school. Financial need will be taken into consideration. Two scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each will be awarded.

Verification of college enrollment (class schedule) will be required during the summer before the check is mailed to the college. Scholarship funds must be applied toward tuition, fees and other appropriate educational expenses. These funds will be disbursed in equal payments over two semesters.
