Southern Nevada Chapter, International Code Council - High School Seniors Scholarship

This scholarship program is open to all Southern Nevada high school seniors with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA who plan to pursue an academic program of study in: Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or Public Administration at an accredited NSHE institution.

*Engineering areas of study that qualify are civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, geotechnical, and land surveying.

Students must attend a NSHE (Nevada System of Higher Education) accredited post-secondary college or university to qualify for this scholarship. Up to fifteen (15) scholarships ranging in amounts from $1,000-$3,000 each will be awarded.

Verification of college enrollment (class schedule) will be required during the summer before a check is mailed to the college. Scholarship funds must be applied toward tuition, fees and other appropriate educational expenses. Scholarship funds will be split evenly between the Fall and Spring semesters.

These paths include, but are not limited to; Building Officials, Fire Chiefs, Plan Reviewers, Construction Inspectors, General Contractors, Architectural designers, Engineering designers, Code Consultants, Homebuilders, Building Product Representatives.
    • In 400-500 words, can you please describe why you wish to pursue a higher-education degree in the fields of architecture, engineering, construction management or public administration? Please be specific about your interests, goals and reasons for doing this.
